 Today for tech we did baking in the kitchen. At first Leo, Kash and me did the topping for apple muffins while Atuilagi, Aroha and Thea made the muffins themselves. By the time we finished the topping, the girls had done the muffins so we stuck the topping on and put them in the oven.

What we learned at Tech on Thursday

Today for tech we did it at school because we could not go to Greymouth high cause of covid. Our group went down to the garden and weeded. We cleard the weeds off the plants and dug up and turned over the garden beds. We got multiple barrels of weeds and cleaned up pots and other things. We learned what are plants and what are weeds and that if you cover the weeds from the sun they will die. Here are some photos.....

Te Kinga's Big Lake Day

 Yesterday Te Kinga class went to the Arnold track where we practised first aid. At first we went around the velenski track, and someone acted like they had hypothermia and we had to treat it in a time limit or else they would die. After that we went around the Arnold track where someone acted like they broke their arm and another person got a bruise, both of these we had to peforme the steps of first aid in a time limit. After that we went down to the beach and made shelters(also in a time limit)and then all hoped in them before testing them out by chucking a bucket of water on them and seeing how well they hold out. During the shelter making one child acted like they got cut and poured red dye on there hand and we had to treat it. Then we lite fires with limited resources, during this someone got 'burnt' and we had to treat it, once the fires where going we ate smores and then went back to class.

I had a very good day.
